My ISP blocks outgoing mail unless I use their mailserver
Many ISPs now stop users sending email, except via that ISPs own mailserver.

If your ISP blocks mail in this way, you can bypass this by changing the SMTP mail port.

To do this in Outlook please do the following:

Click TOOLS-->ACCOUNTS-->PROPERTIES

On the SERVERS tab, ensure your outgoing SMTP server is set to mail.yourdomain.ext (eg mail.internetintuitive.com)

On the ADVANCED tab, set the SMTP port to 26.
